About Freightaid
Freightaid has been operating and assisting shippers and freight forwarders since 1997. Under it's many guises the content of the site has been varied and vast. In the early days we had web-cam links and country pages with a vast amount of information which became unwieldly and difficult to manage.
Freightaid today is a much slicker website with information on a specific range of topics. Much more of a news and freight information resource but with the most popular parts of our original website retained. We still have the best airline and seafreight cargo tracking system with continously monitored and updated links. The people using the website are those that are involved in ensuring it remains upto date. These people are just as important as the people working behind the scenes to keep it a fresh and informative freight and cargo resource site. Your many comments and suggestions for cargo content help to shape and mould this cargo resource site and as such the content better reflects what shippers / packers / manufacturers and cargo agents want.
Freightaid doesn't try to sell you anything, yes we have adverts to help with the upkeep of the site but we try to ensure they remain unobtrusive. We also listen to our site users and have a list of items which we look to include. EC300 will be gone into in details soon to name just one which will be added in the second half of 2010.
We hope Freightaid's web forums will take off and become a central resource for freight forwarders to discuss the latest issues affecting the freight industry worldwide. We have to be careful with forums as freight forwarders tend to like to advertise rates and their company rather than actively participate in discussion so this will be carefully monitored.
Thank you for using Freightaid and i hope you get as much out of it as we do producing it.
