  • PDF

port_of_cc_introThe Project Professionals Group (PPG) have confirmed that their 3rd Annual conference will be held in Antwerp at the end of June 2010.  Bringing together industry hitters in the world of project movement cargo from around the world.  Many specialist freight forwarders as well as project support specialists like the Air Cargo Group will be in attendance to discuss ideals and service standards for the coming 12 months.

The Project Professionals Group have experience in:

"Managing general and project cargoes on a global basis, the scope of services we provide embrace all the elements of the logistics chain from factory collection right up to delivered destination site. Organising safe, cost-efficient transport of project cargoes is always a challenge, but the new PPG has the answers. PPG members have the expertise to provide clients with fully integrated logistics management solutions on a global basis that ensures every piece of the puzzle is taken into account. The globe image reflects this message, whilst the PPG corporate logo is synonomous with innovation and safety"

Antwerp was chosen as a major port handling project cargoes as well as general cargo.  180Million tonnes are reported to pass through the port annually with the figures rising year on year.  As the 2nd largest port in Europe and the 4th largest in the world it makes sense that PPG should look to hold their conference right at the heart of a Project cargo centre.
